Leading and Managing Changes

About This Course

Changes is a constant; managers and leaders are challenged to continuously improve whatever they do and/or transform of a work process, organisational focus or the workforce. Any kind of change impacts people, directly or indirectly creating discomfort, and resistance to change.

This one-day program highlights the need to change or transform to stay relevant. The defenses between a manager and a leader is initially introduced before focusing on the need to lead oneself before leading others. A case study is introduced at the onset to understand the various factors involved making a change or to transform an organization.

Change vs transformation is explained and real-life examples of changes and transformations are discussed. The reality of low percentage of success in transformation (globally) is introduced and reasons for this is brainstormed. Success factor for transformation are discussed before completing the program with two real life case studies of transformation in an organisation.

Prerequisites

Senior managers and leaders who have led functions/organisations. They must have had experience in leading people.
