About This Course
Managers are key cogs in an origination. They enable the goals of the organisation to be achieved by getting the best out of the people who work for them. Far too often managers are focused on results and operations rather than people. Leaders often state “people are the greatest asset” of the organisation. However, few “walk the talk”. This 2.5-day program is aimed at providing participants with an applied understanding and practical knowledge of the basic elements of managing people. In summary, the principles of good management practices are introduced, and practiced in the session using real case studies. The program is essential for building strong foundational competencies of emerging leaders.

The program focuses on understanding the competencies/skills and applying them as the learning happens. Case studies/real life scenarios (these can be customised to the company’s requirements) are used for participants to practise the competencies/skills learned in front of the fellow participants.
