Provide welding engineering support to Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to fabricate equipment in accordance with all applicable code and customer requirements.
Conduct DFM analyzing engineering design for welding requirements and process capabilities.
Evaluates new developments in welding field for possible application to current welding problems or production processes.
Responsible for new welding procedure specification (WPS) development and welder qualification test (WQT) from time to time.
Responsible to manage productivity improvement activities (manual welding process conversion to automated welding).
Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by Department Manager.
CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector qualification will be advantageous.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or 4~5 years related experience.
Proficiency with CAD or SolidWorks.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong leadership and interpersonal.
Knowledgeable about metal fabrication or machining will be advantageous.
