Responsibilities
- Oversee the work progress of the Technician group and provide technical advice when required
- Sync up weekly tasks with Stakeholders
- Distribution of weekly tasks and timely status update
- Sync up daily task with Technicians (Daily GYAT)
- Send daily report on status of boards repair in the lab
- Communicate with Intel engineers on daily status and work with Intel engineers on repair priority
- FATD sighting page update
- FATD Order Status update
- Board repair and validation
- Request for quotation and raise PO for repair items
- Follow-up shipment status
- Board rework/Soldering
- New items:
- Collect new items
- Validate new items
- Repair new items that is damaged
- Arrange shipment to vendor
- Validate items returned from vendor
- Hardware setup (Generic NPI setup)
- Socket repair
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical and Electronic
- Min 1 years’ experience in debugging, rework electrical boards eg: motherboards, system board etc.
- Able to understand electrical schematic and layout design files to help on debugging boards
- Once familiar with customer’s boards, he/she should be able to manage debug and repair activities independently
- Experience in leading technicians in debugging activities and component repair
