Job Description:

Junior BDE:-
• Manage overseas customer accounts, ensure all objectives are achieved effectively in accordance with contractual commitments and customer operational requirements
• Co-ordinate inter-department activities form a single base with multiple locations on various disciplines, such as R&D, Engineering, Finance, Quality and Manufacturing in support of customer requirements, with an objective to develop, achieve and guarantee an efficient and effective business support which is capable to sustain customer satisfaction
• Manage shipment delivery, coordinate with customer on preparation of all logistic support activities
• Manage product sampling request, on loan sample and follow-up on sample
• Communicate with customer on routine basis to better understand business performance and issues
• Coordinate regular business review meetings/conference with customer
• Produce business report, data analysis, proposal & plan and hosting department business review meeting
• Deliver ad-hoc support to customer as and when required
• Managing travel for business development department and customer
• Provide continuous support to ISO 9001 & ISO 14001

Senior BDE:-
• Demonstrates good customer and sales support skills
• Provide inputs to management for process improvements and plan definition
• Mostly an individual contributor but capable of independent decision making. Serves as an accountable resource
• Responsible to support accounts in a key region or district. May travel to customer/ channel partner site for training and meetings
• Negotiates a “win-win” deal; keeps everyone’s best interest in mind even when the situation is not clearly defined
• Constantly seeks information to understand customers better and to identify and influence customers’ actual and perceived needs
• Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
• Identify, research, evaluate and pursue business development opportunities that will contribute to the organisation’s short and long-term business goals
• Manage market research or analysis projects; evaluate findings, prepare reports, and make recommendations to management about the viability of alternative opportunities
• Establish long-term professional relationships with potential clients and customers to promote the organisation’s products and services
• Lead meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organisation’s business interests
• Maximize market penetration and grow revenue
• Gathering market and customer information and provide feedback on consumer trends

Skills Required:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any field with at least 2-years of related experience is preferred
• Fresh graduate who are self-driven, motivated and interested in this job role are encourage to apply too for junior BDE post
• Experience working in marketing/business development or sales coordinator related job functions candidates is encourage to apply
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge will be an advantage
• Excellent time management and work prioritization, ability to multi-task
• Demonstrates strong ability to communicate clearly and successfully through a variety of teams and circumstances
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in Chinese both verbally and in writing as requires to support vendors from PRC
• Adaptive problem solving through applying new methods and concepts to the service team (for example, new processes implementation solutions)
• Must be customer-focused and comfortable working with a diverse group of people
• Strong process and procedure orientation with the ability to apply continuous improvement methods
• Detailed oriented person to manage the data with high accuracy
